Carlos grew up in Pittsburgh, PA with a love for all sports. Especially basketball and baseball. After years of pounding the rock on the hardwood and circling the bases his body began to fail him. Aided by a car accident which caused damage to his spine he found yoga. After multiple unsuccessful attempts through different modalities to heal his back pain and regain the flexibility he lost over the years yoga was the key! Since becoming certified to teach in late 2012 Carlos has taught well over 2000 classes in various styles of yoga. Vinyasa being his specialty with yin and bikram variations also in his repertoire. Carlos believes yoga should be a part of everyone’s fitness program no matter what age, level of flexibility or strength you do or do not have.
